Privacy Policy
Effective August 26, 2026 · Last updated August 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how 1mwall (https://1mwall.com) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit the site, view a listing, or pay for wall pixels or timed city ads. It sits alongside our Terms of Service and Rules.
Who is responsible
The controller for personal data processed through the Service is CLEMENT ANTONY K.

What we collect
There is no 1mwall account. We collect only what we need to run the wall, take payment, stop abuse, and understand traffic.
- Claim and listing data. What you submit in the claim form: website, display name or site title, image or logo, optional message, placement (wall coordinates or screen id), duration, and price. Uploaded images and public logos become part of the listing.
- Site preview. If you enter a website, we request public metadata from that site (title, description, logo). We may use Logo.dev and other public logo/favicon sources so the listing can show a recognizable mark. That request may tell the destination that 1mwall asked for the page.
- Payment data. Checkout runs on Dodo Payments’ hosted page. Dodo collects billing identity, contact details (such as name, email, and phone), address, tax information, and payment-method details. We receive confirmation that you paid, an amount, currency-related totals they send us, and session or payment identifiers so we can place the listing. If payment succeeds but placement fails, we may receive and store a refund status or reason from Dodo. We do not store full card, UPI, or bank numbers. See Dodo Payments’ privacy notice.
- Checkout holds. When you click Claim, we create a short-lived inventory hold in our database (about six minutes) for the wall area or display surface you selected. This includes placement coordinates or surface id, duration, amount, and expiry time. It is linked to your checkout session so we can place or release the listing correctly.
- Pending checkout on your device. While you are paying, your browser may keep a checkout session or receipt id in session storage so we can confirm the payment when you return. We clear it after the attempt succeeds, fails, or you start a new claim.
- Clicks. When you open a listing from the wall, we may increment a click count for that listing so we can show aggregate stats. We do not build a profile of you from those clicks.
- Technical data. Standard request data such as user agent, referrer, and IP address may be processed by our host (Cloudflare) and by DataFast to operate, secure, and measure the Service. Checkout rate limiting may use your IP address for a short time.
- Local wall cache. Your browser may store wall listing metadata in local storage so the board loads faster on return visits. That cache is on your device, not a login.
- Messages you send us. If you email a notice, a complaint, or a privacy request, we keep that correspondence as needed to respond and to keep a legal record.
Cookies
1mwall does not set a first-party advertising cookie or a persistent visitor-ID cookie of its own. Analytics on 1mwall is loaded with DataFast’s script, which DataFast describes as cookieless visit measurement. During checkout, Dodo Payments may set cookies needed to complete payment. Your browser may also keep the session-storage checkout ids and local wall cache described above.
Why we use this data
- Contract. To take payment, confirm a successful charge, place wall pixels or timed ads, display your listing, and provide the Service you asked for.
- Legitimate interests. To keep the wall fair (checkout holds, rate limits, abuse filtering), prevent double-selling the same pixels or display spots, display public listing metadata, fetch public logos, measure visits, debug outages, process automatic refunds when placement fails after a charge, and defend legal claims. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests as described below.
- Legal obligation. To keep tax, accounting, and complaint records where the law requires it. Dodo may collect tax (for example GST) on the payment page.
Public listings
Names, images, descriptions, destination links, pixel placements, and live ads on 1mwall are public. Anyone can see them, including search engines. Do not list a destination if you do not want that information shown.
Timed city ads are public while they run and are taken off that screen when the purchased time ends. Wall claims stay public while they remain on the board.
Who we share data with
- Dodo Payments — hosted checkout, payment confirmation, currency conversion, and tax calculation on their page.
- DataFast — visit and live-visitor counts. We also show public visitor counts on the wall and may link to DataFast stats.
- Hosting, database, and edge infrastructure (currently including Cloudflare and Supabase / Postgres) so the site can run.
- Identity and logo helpers (Logo.dev, destination-site metadata, and public favicon sources) so we can show a name, logo, and preview before and after checkout.
- Professional advisers, authorities, or a buyer of the Service if we must share data to comply with law, enforce the Terms, or transfer the project.
We do not sell your personal data. Some processors may be outside your country. Where we rely on them, we use appropriate safeguards such as the processors’ standard contractual clauses or an equivalent mechanism they provide.
How long we keep it
- Public pixel claims stay while the listing is on the wall and may remain in backups or activity history after a takedown for a limited time.
- Time-based ads are removed from live display when the purchased duration ends, but payment and listing records may be kept as described below.
- Payment identifiers, amounts, hold records, and refund status are kept as long as needed for accounting, tax, fraud, and dispute handling. Short-lived checkout holds expire automatically or are released when checkout fails or completes. Unfinished checkout ids in your browser are cleared when the attempt settles or you start a new claim.
- Aggregate click counts and traffic measures are kept as long as useful for operating the board.
Your rights
If the GDPR or similar law applies to you, you may ask us to access, correct, delete, or export personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing was based on consent. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country of residence.
Email clementantony14@gmail.com. We may need enough information to find your data. Public listing content that is also on your own website is not made private just by appearing on the wall; you can ask us to remove the listing.
Children
The Service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has used the Service, contact us and we will delete the data we can identify.
Changes
We may update this policy when the Service or the law changes. The date at the top of this page is the last update. Material changes will be posted here.
